Saving Paws Rescue, Inc. is 501(c)3 nonprofit animal rescue organization. Run entirely by volunteers, we rescue, care for and find homes for dogs and cats. The animals that we rescue are saved from kill-shelters and other circumstances. We are committed to our animals from rescue to forever home. Saving Paws Rescue, Inc. is devoted to rescuing all animals in need, regardless of breed, age or medical status. We do not have a central facility for our dogs and cats; they are all placed in foster homes. We adopt our animals to homes within 90 miles of White Plains, NY.
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please fill out our Cat Adoption Application or Dog Adoption Application. Freddie's Story - From Paralyzed to Play Time!
Freddie came to us from another rescue in need of help. Freddie, a beautiful cocker spaniel - was doing his best to get around by dragging his hind legs behind him. The poor guy was paralyzed, and his condition was made worse by having spent a long time in a kennel. Freddie had to drag his little belly across the cement just to go to the bathroom. Saving Paws was just supposed to pick him up and drive him to the airport to send him to Florida. But we couldn't just let him spend the rest of his life himself around. We took him into our rescue and raised the money for his spinal surgery - and Freddie WALKED out of the hospital!
Now fully recovered, Freddie's favorite thing to do is play ball in the yard with his foster family. He loves being doted on, and will adore you right back. Freddie's ready for his forever home, so apply to adopt this little miracle today!
