Your support and contributions will enable us to continue our mission of finding loving homes for dogs in need. Transporting dogs to our rescue in NY costs in excess of $200 per dog. Your generous donation will help fund our mission.
Saving Paws Rescue, Inc. is 501(c)3 nonprofit animal rescue organization. Run entirely by volunteers, we rescue, care for and find homes for dogs. The animals that we rescue are saved from kill-shelters and other circumstances. We are committed to our animals from rescue to forever home. Saving Paws Rescue, Inc. is devoted to rescuing all animals in need, regardless of breed, age or medical status. We do not have a central facility for our dogs; they are all placed in foster homes. We adopt our animals to homes within 90 miles of White Plains, NY.
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please fill out our Dog Adoption Application. If you can help by fostering one of our dogs in need, please fill out our Foster Application. For more information about fostering and why it is such a crucial part of our rescue, check out our resource section.
If you want to help the animals but cannot adopt or foster at this time, please consider helping us care for them with a 100% tax deductible donation, through our donation link below.
While our main goal always is to have our rescue dogs adopted into permanent loving homes, some of these animals, because of health or behavioral needs, cannot be adopted out but will stay with us in our Forever Care Program. These pets are given the special care they need and tons of love in their forever foster homes. Saving Paws Rescue, Inc. provides all the medical and other costs so these pets live out their lives loved and well cared for. Your generous support will allow us to continue to care for the dogs in this important life saving program.

For every dog that gets adopted, we can save one more in his or her place. Our animals are primarily in a foster care environment, so we can best inform you of how they will be in your home. We are able to play match maker for you and your future dog based on energy level, whether or not you have children, your work schedule and more.
Foster homes are one of the most important elements of our rescue. We simply couldn’t function without them. Fostering gets the dogs out of the shelter, and allows us to save the lives of more animals. Shelters and boarding facilities are stressful, and cannot compete with the love and care provided in a foster home. With each pet fostered, we are able to save the life of another animal in need.
We are always looking for volunteers to help with transports, adoption applications, and even occasional help caring for the animals that are not in foster homes.
Items we always need for the care and well being of our dogs
