We rely heavily on donations to continue our vital work of saving and rehoming dogs in need. Every donation, no matter how big or small, directly supports medical care, food, shelter, and other essential needs so the dogs waiting can find their forever homes. With your help, we can provide these dogs with the second chance they deserve. Every contribution counts—whether it’s a financial donation, supplies, or your time—because together, we can make a lasting difference in the lives of these dogs, one tail wag at a time!
Saving Paws Rescue, Inc. is 501(c)3 nonprofit animal rescue organization. Run entirely by volunteers, we rescue, care for and find homes for dogs. The animals that we rescue are saved from kill-shelters and other circumstances. We are committed to our animals from rescue to forever home. Saving Paws Rescue, Inc. is devoted to rescuing all animals in need, regardless of breed, age or medical status. We do not have a central facility for our dogs; they are all placed in foster homes. We adopt our animals to homes within 90 miles of White Plains, NY.
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please fill out our Dog Adoption Application. If you can help by fostering one of our dogs in need, please fill out our Foster Application. For more information about fostering and why it is such a crucial part of our rescue, check out our resource section.
If you want to help the animals but cannot adopt or foster at this time, please consider helping us care for them with a 100% tax deductible donation, through our donation link below.
While our main goal always is to have our rescue dogs adopted into permanent loving homes, some of these animals, because of health or behavioral needs, cannot be adopted out but will stay with us in our Forever Care Program. These pets are given the special care they need and tons of love in their forever foster homes. Saving Paws Rescue, Inc. provides all the medical and other costs so these pets live out their lives loved and well cared for. Your generous support will allow us to continue to care for the dogs in this important life saving program.
Meet Koffee! He is approx 5 years old and came to us in very bad shape. It took some time for him to heal and he is now ready for his forever home.
Koffee holds no grudges and is just the best boy! He LOVES to cuddle and doesn't understand personal space LOL so if you are looking for someone to cuddle with this winter Koffee is your boy!
Teo, a lovable three-year-old, is on the lookout for his forever home! While he may be a little shy at first, Teo quickly opens up and shows off his heart-melting smile. This energetic pup loves hiking and playing, as seen here with some of his doggy friends. Teo is great with kids and dogs of all sizes, and given his friendly nature, he’d thrive in a home with another dog to keep him company.

Meet Bambi and Banjo, two lovable dogs looking for a forever home where they can stay together. Bambi is a gentle soul with a heart full of love, while Banjo’s playful spirit brings joy to everyone around him. These two are ready to bring endless happiness to a family that can offer them the love and care they deserve.
We're two sweet pups, and we're really hoping to find a home together! We’ve been through a lot, but we stick by each other no matter what. We promise we’ll bring double the love, double the fun, and plenty of cuddles if you’ll give us a chance. We’d love to be part of your family, together forever!
We absolutely adore older kids! We love their energy and the way they make every day feel like an adventure. Whether it's chasing a ball, playing in the yard, or just cuddling up for a nap, we're always up for fun. Having a family with older kids would make us so happy – we promise to be gentle, loving, and the best playmates ever! All we need is a chance to share our love and joy with you.
For every dog that gets adopted, we can save one more in his or her place. Our animals are primarily in a foster care environment, so we can best inform you of how they will be in your home. We are able to play match maker for you and your future dog based on energy level, whether or not you have children, your work schedule and more.
Foster homes are one of the most important elements of our rescue. We simply couldn’t function without them. Fostering gets the dogs out of the shelter, and allows us to save the lives of more animals. Shelters and boarding facilities are stressful, and cannot compete with the love and care provided in a foster home. With each pet fostered, we are able to save the life of another animal in need.
We are always looking for volunteers to help with transports, adoption applications, and even occasional help caring for the animals that are not in foster homes.
